Mission

SLIST curates dark music and art, and the community of people who care about it.

In practice that means three things. We throw nights where the lineup, the sound and the crowd are all chosen on purpose. We write about what dark means, and a daily email publishes the numbers behind each night. And we connect the people who make this work, DJs, photographers, venues and promoters, so they can find each other.

Dark here is a mood, not a genre (what we mean by dark). We book industrial, ambient, techno, drone and more, as long as it holds the mood. Most people will not like it, and that is expected. We build for the ones who do.

It is not a clique. If you come to listen, you belong. The house rules are short, and they are the only test.
