SLIST started in Mexico City in 2021 as a weekly list of other people's parties, and has thrown its own nights in New York since December 2023, now in Brooklyn. Most of the crowd buys a ticket without checking the lineup, because the product is the night itself: the order of the sets, the sound, and who is in the room. The archive keeps every flyer, so you can see how that was built.
Most people won't get it. We built it for the ones who do.

Booked DJs are asked to play deeper than at their other gigs, and to bring the risky records they rarely get to play anywhere else. A night runs about six hours, from ambient openers to industrial peaks, and the order matters as much as the names. We book by feeling, not by tempo or follower count.

Between nights the community talks in one live chat. Messages are translated as they arrive into English, Spanish or Chinese, and you can post under a pseudonym when saying something under your own name would cost you. Every morning one email covers dark music, film and books, and the numbers behind each night: venue splits, what headliners cost, and which nights lost money.

The FAQ covers tickets, age limits, what to wear and refunds. Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before a night and transferable after that, to anyone who meets the age and dress requirements. For anything else, the contact page reaches the team.
