Built by
the uninvited.

A dark taste movement.
Brooklyn, NY. Since 2021.

CDMX 2021 → Brooklyn 2024

Started with a list.

One person writing about the underground nobody was covering.

In 2021, a music blog launched in Mexico City — dark producers, anonymous labels, the sounds everyone was ignoring. The blog became a list. The list became events. The events became a community that crossed an ocean.

Brooklyn since 2024. Same taste, bigger room.

What dark means

Dark, not hostile.

Intense, not reckless.

Selective, not exclusionary.

Dark in tone and emotion — not in behavior.

The container for people with dark taste to find each other and build something that feels like home. We don't gatekeep genres or identities. We gatekeep energy. If you come to listen, you belong.

Not the hardest. Not the fastest. The deepest.

Genre-agnostic. Vibe-specific.

Ambient that makes you hold your breath. Techno that rearranges your skeleton. Industrial that sounds like the building is falling down on purpose. Live instrumental sets where someone's actually playing.

We don't book by BPM. We book by feeling. If it hits where it hurts, it belongs on the lineup.

The night

You already know
what to wear.

No set times published. All-black dress code. Leave the phone in your pocket.

The room is curated — the crowd has taste. Nobody's performing for the camera. Everybody's here because they want to be.

CDMX Where it started 2021
NYC Where it lives 2024

The movement is bigger than one city.

73 events since 2021 No outside funding. No team. One operator.

The trajectory

Every event is a brick
in something permanent.
