What you signed up for
The covenant
Read this once. Then forget it. It should feel obvious in the room.
No set times.
We don’t publish them. Not on the flyer, not in the email, not at the door. You came for the night, not for one DJ. If you’re chasing a 1am window, you’re at the wrong party.
Mystique is a curation tool. It also self-selects out the people who only want the headliner.
All-black.
Not a rule. A signal. If you’re in all-black you’ve already read this page.
Phones in pockets.
Photographers on the dancefloor make everyone feel like a product. Flashes break the spell. The crowd that handles your worst and dances harder is the whole point — they can’t do that if they’re being filmed.
If you need a clip, ask. Hold it low. No flash. No stories.
Listen first.
Don’t request. Don’t talk over the set. Don’t try to interview the DJ between songs. The room is curated — the crowd has taste. Nobody’s performing for the camera. Everybody’s here because they want to be.
Energy, not aesthetics.
We don’t gatekeep genres or identities. We gatekeep energy. If you come to listen, you belong. If you came for content, you’ll be miserable.
(We do gatekeep aesthetics. The vibe check is real. We’re honest about it.)
What we don’t do.
No glitter. No photo pits. No bottle service. No anthem buildups followed by phones-up drops. No “you’ve never heard anything like this” hype. No tagging the lineup as your personality.
What we do.
Hard, dark, heavy, cold, deep. The room. The sound. Each other.
Events since 2021. Five cancel wars survived. Lost team members. Made enemies. The community got bigger every time. The covenant is why.
