SLIST

Promoter program

Program terms

Placeholder draft. Full legal copy lands before public launch (v1.0 GA).

Who can join

Any SLIST account holder can sign up as an promoter, except current SLIST DJs, residents, staff members, or artists on an upcoming lineup. You confirm this at signup. We may remove you and forfeit commissions if the confirmation turns out to be false.

The math

20% commission on the pre-tax, pre-fees ticket price of every sale attributed to your code. Your friends get 10% off when they use your code at checkout. The rate doesn't change based on volume, tenure, event type, or anything else. Same percentage forever.

Attribution

We track via your unique code and a 30-day cookie set when someone clicks your share link. Last-touch within the 30-day window wins — if your friend clicks two different promoters' links, the most recent one gets credit. If they enter a code at checkout, the code wins over any cookie.

Payouts

Stripe Express handles your bank connection and tax forms. We transfer your commissions 7 days after each event ends. Stripe then deposits to your bank on its normal rolling schedule (typically 2 business days). Minimum payout per event: $0 — we send whatever you earned.

Refunds + chargebacks

SLIST has a strict no-refunds policy on tickets. If a refund is issued anyway (extraordinary circumstances), the commission on that ticket reverses too. Chargebacks reverse commission automatically; if your chargeback rate exceeds 5%, we may pause your account for review.

Fraud

Buying tickets with your own code, asking friends to buy through you for tickets they'd have bought anyway, running a fake-account farm — all forfeit commission and may result in account suspension. We're not pedantic about edge cases; we are pedantic about pattern abuse.

Leaving the program

Email saimon@slist.net any time. Your historical commissions remain payable; your code stops attributing new sales.

Changes to these terms

We may update terms with 30 days' notice via email to promoters with at least one attributed sale, posted publicly here. Continuing to use your code after the effective date counts as acceptance.
