Saimon discovered techno at a Brooklyn rave during the lockdowns of March 2021. A few months later he traveled to CDMX as a tourist, picked up Spanish, founded SLIST as a promoter, and started learning how to DJ from local event organizers. Saimon returned to NYC in early 2023, started a local chapter for the SLIST project, and began throwing his own parties later that year. Saimon likes to stir the pot with crazy lineups and critical commentary about our local rave scenes. His curation is heavily influenced by the genre-free experimental scene of CDMX - his library features everything from dark ambient to industrial hardcore, but for listeners every set is vastly different depending on the time and setting. The only constant is “dark music only.”
Courtney and Robert Watkins—the Tulsa-born, NYC-based duo behind Coatie Pop and the pioneers of post-techno—are known for their dynamic live performances and a sound that fuses ’80s synth and techno-inspired dance tracks with ethereal sadcore folk ballads. Lovers since ninth grade, Coatie Pop is composed of Mr. Watkins’ bass, sound design, and beats, and Mrs. Watkins’ vocals, lyrics, guitar, and energetic dance performances. The duo has toured as live act across the U.S. supporting Pixel Grip, in Europe supporting Patriarchy, as well as headlining their own tours and playing countless times around New York City. With their self-released album Deathbed amassing over 1 million streams, Coatie Pop released their second album, Unknown God, in summer 2024, deepening their sonic fascination with techno, trance, and trip-hop. They have collaborated with artists such as Rikhter, released a single via Synthicide, and most recently released their experimental club tracks EP via their own imprint Post-techno. Ravers at heart, Coatie Pop has been working their sound into hybrid sets to establish their place in the rave scene - one that is bound by no genre - only a ride down to your darkest sadness, up and down again.
DJ NOPE is a homegrown Drum & Bass and Jungle force from the heart of the Brooklyn underground. Operating at the visceral intersection of subterranean bass and relentless kinetic energy, he bridges the hypnotic tension of dark electronic music with uncompromising high-velocity beats, building dense atmospheres from massive sub-bass and punishing breakbeats. As the driving force behind the multi-genre City Soul collective, NOPE has built his reputation from the ground up. His trajectory traces grassroots momentum—from raw underground street raves and intimate local rooms to commanding massive sound systems at Bushwick institutions like Elsewhere and Silo, and onto international stages in Tokyo and Ho Chi Minh City. Behind the decks, his dark streak takes center stage. Eschewing slow builds for sheer momentum, he relies on surgical precision and relentless back-to-back drops, isolating the most industrial, driving rhythms of D&B. The result is a heavy, uncompromising set designed to keep the dancefloor moving from first track to last.
Julia Kova is a force in the techno underground, blending hard, industrial, and hypnotic sounds into raw, high-voltage sets. Born in Europe, based between NYC and LA, she commands dancefloors coast to coast with relentless energy and a dark, seductive edge.
RYTM is a New Jersey / NYC-based hard techno and schranz DJ/producer known for high-energy sets, heavy kicks, and dark industrial sound. With over 25K monthly listeners on Spotify and support from artists including Sara Landry, Vendex, OBI, and Nikolina, etc, he is quickly establishing himself as a rising name in the hard techno scene.
SENGA is a Polish-born, Brooklyn-raised enby electronic music artist. With career spanning cross-genre to the current pioneering of a fresh Neo Tekno style — blending psy, hard, bounce, industrial, and hyper techno Euro style with American and global tribute remixes, original vocals, and custom synths. Performances unleash explosive energy, deep drops, and relentless kicks that cause jumping, chanting, and euphoric sonic experiences 🖤
