Promoter Agreement


The purpose of this initiative is to partner with promoters who can serve as representatives and curators of the SLIST vision. We are seeking affable people with dark tastes who offer something special to our scene, so that we may grow together as a community and solidify our place within the electronic music space.

We are presenting you this contract because we believe in you and see the convergence in vision between you and us. We want to do everything we can to ensure that you are given all the tools we have at our disposal to foster a strong and genuine mutual community of like-minded ravers.  

We seek a true partnership based on mutual understanding and shared love for dark culture. This contract is a formality which lays out our mutual expectations and roles as partners. This is not legally-binding, and is contingent on the good faith of all parties involved. As our project matures we will propose new agreements every 6 months that are more profitable for you as a promoter. 

  1. Duties of SLIST
    • SLIST will not accept any engagement for the promoter without the promoter’s prior approval. 
    • Promotion
      • Listing the promoter on SLIST’s website catalog.
      • Networking the promoter with third party collectives and labels, without conflict to SLIST operations.
    • Perks
      • 2 complimentary drink tickets for the promoter at SLIST events for which he/she partners, if the promoter brings at least 3 people.   
      • Guest list + 1 entry for the promoter at all SLIST events. 
      • Promoter will receive an SLIST shirt or hoodie of their choosing after his/her first 5 sales. 
  1. Duties of promoter
    • Promoter guarantees to use reasonable effort to funnel as many attendees as possible into SLIST events. 
    • Promotion of all SLIST events on social media, without conflict of interest to the promoter.
    • Promotion of SLIST audio/video releases on social media.
    • Promotion of SLIST to other labels, collectives, promoters, and venues for collaboration.
  1. Compensation
    • This compensation structure is meant to ensure a fair and equitable distribution of resources between SLIST and its promoters. As independent promoters we must ensure that we meet our overhead costs in organizing the best events we possibly can, that our people are taken care of and paid what they deserve, and that contingencies are in place for worst-case scenarios to offset any failures to meet certain terms and/or deterioration of our relationships. We’re doing everything we can to ensure that everyone involved can come away with something in as fair and transparent a manner as possible. This project is everything to us, we are very grateful to you for believing in it as we do, and want to reward you as best we possibly can. 
    • Events
      • For the first 10 attendees the promoter brings, he/she will receive 30% commission on their ticket sales. Anything beyond 10 attendees, the promoter will receive 50% commission on their ticket sales. 
      • The promoter will receive his/her event payout within 5 business days of the event. 
    1. Bookings
      • The promoter will receive a 10% finder’s fee of all profits per referral of SLIST to other promoters, venues, and collectives, should a collaboration between the aforementioned parties occur. 
    1. Rights of Involved Parties
      • Rights of promoter
        • The promoter may solicit, obtain, and retain the services of other third-party agencies/partnerships for his/her own career endeavors. 
      • Rights of SLIST
        • SLIST may solicit, obtain, and retain the services of other promoters, collectives, and partners for its own endeavors. 
        • SLIST may use or permit others (with the promoter’s consent) to use the promoter’s name, likeness, and work for promotion and/or publicity, but without cost to the promoter, unless the promoter shall otherwise specifically agree.
        • SLIST may publicize its partnership with the promoter. 
      1. Renewals and Updates

      As the SLIST project and community grows we want the terms of our partnership to evolve accordingly. As such, re-negotiations are welcome at all times.

      We will do our best to ensure that no one ever feels slighted. We understand that this is a mutual investment for greater mutual exposure. If you ever feel like you need a change, we need you to be transparent with us so that we can quickly resolve any and ALL conflicts.
