Saimon discovered techno at a Brooklyn rave during the lockdowns of March 2021. A few months later he traveled to CDMX as a tourist, picked up Spanish, founded SLIST as a promoter, and started learning how to DJ from local event organizers.

Saimon returned to NYC in early 2023, started a local chapter for the SLIST project, and began throwing his own parties later that year.

Saimon likes to stir the pot with crazy lineups and critical commentary about our local rave scenes. His curation is heavily influenced by the genre-free experimental scene of CDMX – his library features everything from dark ambient to industrial hardcore, but for listeners every set is vastly different depending on the time and setting. The only constant is “dark music only.”
