Access to guest lists

Over the course of 2023, Slist distributed more than 2,300 tickets to at least 100 different raves. Consequently, a major hypothesis was confirmed: ravers are happy to promote an event in exchange for their ticket, but cash-strapped ravers and shy promoters don’t often connect through direct messaging.

The solution was simple: make the process less personal through forms.

Some promoters used their personal accounts to register anonymously and test the service. They then contacted Slist through their official accounts to streamline the process.

Things are not what they seem, anyone can represent any brand. Determining the likelihood of someone attending an event, how many companions they will bring, or their level of involvement in the local scene is a highly fallible process. Therefore, Slist’s official policy is one of preemption: the first to register and share the necessary content earns the courtesy of guest list entry.

Courtesies and guest lists are community-driven and oriented, not status-dependent.
