SLIST Dance Floor Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2025

At SLIST, the dance floor is sacred. It’s where the music takes over, strangers become crew, and nothing exists but the moment. To protect that space — and everyone in it — we have a few rules. Follow them and you’ll help keep the energy pure.

1. Floor Etiquette

  • No cell phones near the stage or DJ booth. Snap your pics or videos from the outskirts or back of the floor. Keep screens out of faces. And absolutely no doomscrolling — if you want to stare at your phone, step outside.
  • Minimal talking on the floor. People are here for the music, not your recap of last weekend. If you need to have a conversation, move to the sides or bar.
  • Respect personal space. The dance floor is not bumper cars. Be aware of your body and those around you.
  • Look out for each other. If someone’s not okay, tell SLIST staff or security immediately.

2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Any form of harassment — unwanted advances, inappropriate touching, verbal abuse — gets you removed. No warnings. No second chances. Report incidents to staff or security as soon as they happen. We take every report seriously.

3. Why These Rules Exist

We are first and foremost dark music promoters. We design our nights for deep listening, heavy dancing, and an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. That only works if the space is respected — by the sober, the tipsy, and the altered alike.

We know substances are part of nightlife. These guidelines help keep the floor safe and functional no matter what state you’re in.

4. Everyone’s Welcome — If You Respect the Space

We welcome people from all walks of life — whether you’re here to disappear into the music, explore the culture, or just have a night out. All we ask: respect the vibe, respect the music, and respect each other.
